Rough life man.. lets see some fotos...

: fair enough.

both those polaroids were taken with this SX-70 i got a while back at a pasadena camera show for $20. I got it home and it wasnt working.. so bummed, but after some tweaking with it and messin around with things that i shouldnt be touching.. i got it to work. I also removed all of the porvair covering so its naked.. so once Aki asahi updates there website.. ill get it looking sexy again and show you. I also did the same to another sx-70 ( i now own 3)

real-eye-zation

At times we adults get caught up in lives that we thought we'd never live. By the time we turn 18 we forget about the power of simplicity and focus more and more on work and/or school. Is that to say we have forgotten about what really matters? No... we just at times need a pick me up to help us realize what makes us thrive and happy in the worst of times.
As children just about anything makes us happy. From fluttering butterflies too pouring rain. Everything is new and everything holds beauty. The clouds of maturity and influence of others leeds us to believe that we must grow away from the adolescent mind. I say dont..
Forget the opinions of modern society and live your life the way you want it to be lived. Laugh at things that strike you as funny but also find humor in things most people would describe as unbearable. WE sometimes forget that we can regulate what makes us happy and what makes us sad.
My past month has been shit.....on different levels that has sent me into bed with the cousin of depression ( he's twice adopted and 3 times re-mairried..long story) For many reasons no one knows about, but at the end of each day i come to realize more and more that i let even the small things turn my world upside down. Many are over-reactions.. ill be the first to admit that I over analyze every single thing that i do.. and my at times arrogant conscience takes over my thought process... i dont like it.. if anyone has the cure send it my way..

Sorry that was quite the rant..

Anyways that was sparked because over the past weekend ive been around children ( non creeper) and i've come to see how much happiness lies within. 1 minute they could be crying after taking a table corner to the forehead.. and the next they could be laughing at the sight of ball rolling on the hardwood floor.. anyways here are some kid polars of My cousin tiffanys daughter evy:

and some more of just i dunno.. simple things..

bottom line.. enjoi life..no one knows how long you'll be here

maybe throw on some tunes

huh

So i had a canon 35mm camera filled with Delta 100 b&w film and decided to take it to get it developed today. My blog has been lacking actual content for quite some time so i figure kill 2 birds with 1 stone.. Get some film developed and have inspiration to write about something.
Anyways, so i drove my moto down to CVS in montrose handed my roll to the guy..
1 hour? yes

Glossy or matte? Matte

Singles: Yes

Want a photo cd? No

And then exited the store with a receipt that said; Pickup at 4:01 pm. So i left my house a lil after that just for a safety cushion.

I get there... and hand the photo guy my pick-up-paper and he looks at me with a smirk.

" man something happened.. we should have told you when you dropped it off..but our developer doesn't produce professional grade film"

me: " so what are you saying"

dude " Your film is ruined..it didn't develop"

Now Ive had a pretty bad 2 weeks.. this was just icing on the cake, but for some-reason i didn't get too heated

That was until the fucker scanned my receipt and said $11.50 please. I looked at him as if he spit in my face then asked for a favor.

"i'm sorry.. $11.50 for what?"

" well we took the time to attempt to develop your roll... so for the work done $11.50"

me : " so let me get this right... you want me to pay you for ruining my roll of $7.00 film"

dude " well we tried to develop it"

Me: " thanks for your time" and walked out

What has come of this world...

The guy was lucky that i've become a non violent man these days...because otherwise i woulda ripped his pony-tail out and beat the living shit out of him with it.

What if these were pictures of who shot jfk.. or tiger woods having group sex ... i would be heated.. I still am.. for the fotos burned into that film are memories i cant relive through visuals... thanks CVS
