state of mynd?

As i'm writing this let me give you an insight of what exactly is going on in my house. Sean is selling his gun to some old ass man. He told sean that its bad to sell a gun to someone with the ammo sitting right next to the gun....duh. He also requested that the gun be sold without a bill of sale...basically this man is gonna go to his sunday mormon gathering full of family and friends...then just kill everyone... and without a bill of sale....all fingers will be pointing in the direction of sean.

With that being said my time in Utah is winding down so i'm trying to get a little taste of a utah summer while i can. So the other week my friend chris and I went fly fishing. Bottom line i suck at fly fishing and chris seems to know what hes doing:

On our little hike towards better fishing there was quite the array of wildlife both alive and dead.
This snake zoomed by us...no biggy right? Well it became a even bigger no biggy after the 5th or 6th one....i guess there popular out here:

This is a dead dear...or so im guessing. Scary thing is that i dont know what killed it or ate it...but it was right next to the trail in clear view....something ate all of it...but left enough for me to take a foto of:

theres an old saying (and im paraphrazing) but "its not the destination it's the journey". Now of this day we caught no fish...but that didnt matter..sometime u just gotta get out and do something...regardless what...everything is an experience.. If you like to steal dogs and put them on a plane to mexico so be it....i dont know where i was going with that...umm oh after some more fish action:

we got some tony tacos in heber...asada wet ( or as utons call it "smothered") burrito......THE BEST!

im out..see ya

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOMMY!

woah

Lakers got killed today.but as usual i aint stressin...

My now ex roomate Blake Nyman made a short visit back home to move his stuff into storage for the summer but while he was here we got to thrash a little bit "no homo"...here are some fotos cause i dont feel like writing much:

blakes older brother was in a bike-athalon a few days ago so we went out to show our support:

After the race we hit up tonys tacos in Heber...it was one of the best Mexican Food Joints i have ever experienced, which means a lot coming from southern California. The food was too enjoyable to take pictures of...sorry. Anyways we then ventured to stevens house for a little tour.

Here is 2 nyman brothers...one Olympian..the other..PURE hoodrat...just kidding...:

Made it back home snapped a jamie foto wich is rare:

and called it a night.

As usual.. on my days off i scope out the local thrift stores for old cameras...i picked this one up its a Nishiki SuperII...now i couldnt find any literature on them but i know that niskiki makes bikes favorited by hipsters...oh well im out..PEACE:

activities?

Same story same day...Ive been laggin on this but I've got some goodness coming in the near future. Had a fantastic trip to BRo Cal with some photos and video to follow. More recently I have a few days off and I'm trying to do something eventful each of those days...today I had a pretty good one. Went to a local thrift store full of different people and picked up a sweet flannel as well as a pretty sweet 35mm camera:

that beauty is just another added to my collection and ran me $5.00...not bad.
Speaking of cameras...my dad gave me a camera that was his fathers from back in the day. Now I'm no Ansel Adams or anything like that but I've seen many cameras...but none like this one:

It uses 110 size film which is another foreign thing to me. Anyways its super small and you can find telephoto/ wide angle lenses for it, which is something i plan on doing eventually. Its pretty much a spy sized 35mm cam.
Ok so after the thrift evtravaganza I got some subway, hung out for a little then searched for a hiking trail...cause as you will see once i post some of my CAlifornia adventure I'm now training to be the next Man vs WILD...(not really) . So one of my boss's at hell told me about a place just up the road from my current location in millcreek. So I put on what I thought were my best shoes for the hike ( van's skate shoes) and drove up the road which opened up into a hikers paradise. There were streams, ponds, a lake on some trail...and really just trails all over. Now the weather has been on and off in the salt lake capoonity so a good amount of the trail i took was rather muddy:

So whatevs i got to this sign and just dove right in:

I'm new to this whole outdoor's type thing so I showed up in a sweatshirt vans and jeans...needless to say I felt a little out of place when fellow hikers would pass me wearing the regular attire:

Oh well..what i had on didn't effect my bad-ass-ness one bit:

MOst of the hike was mellow..essentially it was just like walking on flat ground with a slight slant and the occasional hill...nothing like my earth day hike...here are some pictorals to give you a visual:

It was pretty good to get out today...to much on my mind has been eating at me so thanks nature for being there and not sending a mtn lion or bear to decapitate me.
Oh and im tryin to cook more and more, and with Blake having been gone for like 2 months i get to eat whatever i'd like..so tonight i made pigs in a blanket

goodnight world..check back soon for the california recap..CIAOOOO
